At Morgan County Rescue Squad, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since July 5, 1964, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. The Squad is equipped for the following operations:
• Search and Rescue on Land, the Tennessee River and its Tributaries within Morgan County.

• Water Rescue & Diving Operations

• Dragging and Recovery Operations
​
• Provide Transportation for Doctors, Nurses, and other health critical reasons during ice & snow storms
​
• Evacuation and Rescue during floods
​
• Rappelling and High Angle Rescue
​
• Cave Rescue, Search and Recovery
​
• Emergency response to assist in the evacuation in the event of a problem at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant
​
• Assistance to all of the Morgan County Volunteer Fire Departments
​
• Assistance to any agency within Morgan County and throughout the state of Alabama.
